The Photograph
We are recreating this historic photo, Roll Call, Easter 1941.
12:OO Noon
Those who are riding from Government Camp will meet at the Museum. We will shuttle up to Timberline via two First Student buses. board the buses to Timberline Lodge. Don't be late, we will hand out numbers as we can accomodate only 200 people. If you come later than 12:00 be prepared to drive yourself to Timberline.
2:15 PM
Everyone gather in front of Timberline Lodge for a panoramic photo to celebrate the 75 years of service that the Mt. Hood Ski Patrol has given to the skiing public. We have a great professional photographer and his team who will be commemorating this event.
3:00 PM (or so)
We slap on our skies and head through Timberline towards the Glade Trail. Imagine a sea of red, yellow and blue streaming across the slopes and down the trail. We will be joined by our photographers for candid shots on the Trail.
Timberline and the Forest Service have agreed to groom Glade Trail for this historic and symbolic trail run. After skiing Glade, walk down the hill to Government Camp Loop. The buses will wait near Govy General Store to shuttle people to the patol building and the Museum to change clothes and put on shoes for the party. The bus will be making a continuous loop until around 4:00 unless the photo runs later and the skiers are delayed. Then the bus will continue for an appropriate length of time until everyone has been transported back to the Museum.
Those not skiing will head towards the bus to go down to the Mt. Hood Museum for a great party!

Après Ski Party
3:30 or 4:00 (or whenever you arrive)
We all meet at the Mt. Hood Museum and Cultural Center where Lloyd Musser has a display commemorating our 75 years.
Those who are patrolling or hosting that day are welcome to join us when your duties are done for the day.
We will have cheese and crackers, beer and a chili supper served by our friends from the Skiyente Ski Club.
We will be passing the hat for donations to the museum in thanks for their hospitality.
8:00 PM
We clean up the last of the beer and chili and give the Museum back to Lloyd
after a rousing chorus (or two) of:
“Hooray for us! Hooray at last! Hooray for us we’re a horse’s ass!”
